Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund

CARES Act

Due to COVID-19, the CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) was established to provide funding to institutions to provide emergency financial aid grants to students whose lives have been disrupted, many of whom are facing financial challenges.

 

Certification and Agreement Acknowledgement

Chisholm Trail Technology Center (CTTC) has signed and returned the Certification and Agreement to the US Department of Education with the assurance that CTTC has used no less than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provided Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students. 

CTTC has received $26,320 from the US Department of Education pursuant to the Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Grants to Students. 

As of 5/28/20 CTTC has distributed $26,320 of Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.

An estimated 42 students at CTTC are eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under Section 18004(a)(1). 

As of 5/28/20 42 students at CTTC have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to Students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act.  

 

Cares Act HEERF Institutional Funds

Certification and Agreement forms were submitted and funds in the amount of $26,320 have been received to cover costs associated with changes necessary for instruction due to Covid-19.
